There is no minimum age requirement to use the Training pool; however, patrons must adhere to the adult-child supervisory ratio (based on actual birth date) outlined below:

For ages 5 and under, patrons must be accompanied by an adult in the water, within arm’s reach, with a maximum ratio of 1 adult to 2 children.

For ages 6 to 12, patrons must be accompanied by an adult in the water, with a maximum ratio of 1 adult to 4 children.

For ages 13 to 15, patrons must be accompanied by an adult in the water if the child is not proficient, with a maximum ratio of 1 adult to 8 children. If the child is proficient (able to swim 50m continuously using a recognized stroke), the adult does not need to be in the water to accompany the child.

Supervising adults must be in proper swim attire, actively participating and within arm’s reach (where applicable).

Patrons must be at least 16 years of age (based on actual birth date) to enter the Competition pool.
